We will listen to your health story, explain how we will work together, and decide if MNT is good fit and plan next steps. Our dietitians can also assist you with verifying medical nutrition therapy benefits under your health insurance plan.
What’s included in your initial Medical Nutrition Therapy appointment?
The initial medical nutrition therapy appointment is 90 minutes long and is a comprehensive assessment of your medical history, weight loss history, as well as your nutrition and lifestyle habits. We work with you to create a personalized nutrition and lifestyle wellness plan targeting your health goals. We do not prescribe diets. We believe in sustainable healthy habits for life.

Is Medical Nutrition Therapy covered by my health insurance?
While some services may have an out-of-pocket cost, many are covered at 100% by health insurance plans
If you have Medicare as your primary health insurance plan, please contact us to find out about coverage before making an appointment. Typically, Medicare will only cover MNT for those with diabetes or kidney disease
