There are several diagnostic tests for SIBO, however the breath tests ordered by most physicians can be difficult to prep for, are limited in detecting the various bacteria responsible for SIBO, and often result in false negatives. Typically, you can save time and money when determining whether or not you have SIBO by asking yourself if you are often (almost daily) experiencing the following symptoms:
